StartUp Canada

StartUp Canada offers a national network of grassroots communities focused on creating an environment of entrepreneurship. They host a number of events including the #EveryEntrepreneur Tour that is currently making its way across Canada, as well as ‘StartUp Day On the Hill’, the largest startup-focused event in Canada. They also host web chats, webinars and a podcast that provides advice to small businesses.

Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses

The Canadian Federation of Independent Businesses (CFIB) has been supporting entrepreneurs for over 40 years and represents nearly 110,000 small business owners. They not only act as a resource for small business owners, but also a lobbying group that advocates on behalf of small businesses. Membership provides support and advice on virtually every facet of running a business.

Mompreneurs™

Mompreneur Showcase Group™ is a networking organization that supports, educates and empowers women in business. They also host online and in-person events through their licensed chapters throughout Canada. Becoming a member of Mompreneurs™ provides your business with a great presence through their website, publications, national conference and trade shows. Membership also provides discounts from other companies that offer business related services.

Futurpreneur Canada

Futurpreneur Canada was previously known as the Canadian Youth Business Foundation. Don’t be fooled by “youth”, as they support aspiring business owners aged 18-39. If you are in the early stages of creating your own small business futurpreneur is a great resource. They can connect you with other entrepreneurs, provide online resources, connect you with financing, and provide two years of mentoring while you get your business off the ground.
