Commercial general liability (CGL)
Commercial general liability insurance protects you, your employees, and your business from a loss if you’re found legally liable for property damage or bodily injuries caused by the service you provide.
Commercial auto insurance
If you regularly use a vehicle to drive to client’s homes, you may need commercial auto insurance. Personal auto insurance is designed for personal use, whereas a commercial auto policy is designed with the needs of a business in mind; covering multiple drivers and vehicles, as well as equipment and products.
For example, if your vehicle is stolen while transporting $3,000 worth of equipment and supplies, your personal auto policy may only cover the damage to the actual vehicle but not cover the cost to replace the stolen equipment and supplies.
